Mobile Defense featured on Revision3 App Judgment
One of my biggest concerns dating back to my very first cell phone was what if I lost it or it got stolen? Think of all the data you have in your phone, especially nowadays with smartphones. All your contacts and now your e-mail and other sensitive material. So if you lose your phone, someone could not only use it to make calls but also have access to all your personal data. Mobile Defense is an application, that once installed on your phone, can help you to locate and then lock down your missing or stolen phone. Not only is a handy tool to find a lost cell phone, but the added secruity involved in locking your phone down makes Mobile Defense an ideal solution to protect yourself from theft or loss.

One thing I feel is missing on the app implementation is that it doesn’t offer the option to auto-active on sim card change. It would be nice to have a list of allowed cards and if a different one was inserted, it would automatically enter the “alert” / “recover” mode. That’s the only thing that makes me not get it. If I get stolen, the card will probably be changed quicly, so I wouldn’t be able to lock it remotely if the new card is pre-paid and without credits (this way it would not send me the new info).

@gc Sounds like your GPS is off or your phone can’t get a satellite fix. We’d be happy to check your account and help you troubleshoot. Please post a message on our Help and Troubleshooting forum: http://support.mobiledefense.com
